Lead NX Design Engineer at panthalassa

Develop and maintain expert-level Siemens NX models for structure and mechanical system designs.
Lead the creation of complex assembly drawings, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and technical rigor.
Own and execute detailed documentation and technical drawings for large-scale, safety-critical welded structures.
Define and manage the engineering release process to ensure standards and detail requirements are met.
Integrate PLM data with NX infrastructure to support scaling and manufacturing accuracy.
Establish strategies for augmenting the design team during high-demand periods to meet cost, speed, and quality goals.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
10 years of 3D CAD modeling experience, with a heavy emphasis on Siemens NX.
Expert knowledge of GD T and engineering standards such as ASME Y14.5.
Proven track record in the documentation of large-scale mechanical assemblies and welded steel structures.
Experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM system.
A commitment to quality and a meticulous approach to technical documentation.

Cash compensation of 120,000 - 180,000
