Job Description
The Senior Account Executive, Public Sector, is responsible for driving the adoption of wildfire detection and situational awareness technology among state and local government agencies on the West Coast, working closely with public safety officials and policymakers to enhance wildfire response and climate resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Accelerate adoption of wildfire detection and situational awareness technology across state and local government agencies in the West Coast.
- Build and maintain relationships with public sector stakeholders such as State Forestry officials, emergency management leaders, and government decision-makers.
- Forge partnerships to bring fire intelligence capabilities to the public sector.
- Support public safety, emergency response, and climate resilience initiatives through technology solutions.
- Collaborate with government affairs teams, lobbyists, and decision-makers to shape wildfire mitigation and disaster preparedness strategies.
Requirements
- Experience working closely with State Forestry officials, emergency management leaders, government affairs teams, state lobbyists, and state decision-makers who are actively shaping wildfire mitigation and disaster preparedness strategies.
- Proven ability to forge partnerships that bring advanced fire intelligence capabilities to the public sector.
- Demonstrated strategic and mission-driven approach to enterprise account management or sales in the public sector, specifically targeting government agencies.
- Strong understanding of wildfire detection, situational awareness technology, and public safety or emergency response solutions.
- Experience supporting or selling technology solutions that enhance public safety, emergency response, or climate resilience.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to work effectively with government officials and decision-makers.
- Ability to support the adoption of wildfire detection and situational awareness technology across state and local government agencies in the West Coast.
- Track record of supporting or managing high-impact roles that involve public sector engagement and technology adoption.
