Job Description
The Director of Product Management will lead the development and execution of product strategies for wildfire detection technology, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that help emergency responders protect communities and natural resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product vision to support wildfire detection and response.
- Lead and elevate product management efforts, driving high-impact initiatives.
- Develop well-thought-out product proposals and plans that meet quality standards.
- Partner with engineering, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams to align product solutions with strategic goals.
- Guide the team through complex customer challenges with precision and speed.
- Shape and scale product management processes within the organization.
- Mentor and develop a team of product managers to ensure product excellence.
Requirements
- Experience in leading and elevating product management efforts, including driving high-impact, high-visibility product initiatives.
- Ability to craft well-thought-out product proposals and plans that meet the highest quality standards.
- Experience guiding teams through complex customer challenges with precision and speed.
- Partnering closely with engineering, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams to ensure product solutions align with strategic goals.
- Experience in defining and executing the product vision to empower emergency managers and wildland firefighters.
- Proven ability to shape and scale product management processes within a rapidly growing company.
- Experience mentoring a team of talented product managers (PMs).
