Job Description
The role involves driving the adoption of wildfire detection and situational awareness technology within public sector agencies on the West Coast, working closely with government officials and emergency management leaders to enhance wildfire response and climate resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Accelerate adoption of wildfire detection and situational awareness technology across state and local government agencies in the West Coast.
- Build and maintain relationships with public sector stakeholders, including State Forestry officials, emergency management leaders, and decision-makers.
- Identify and pursue partnership opportunities to bring fire intelligence capabilities to the public sector.
- Support public safety, emergency response, and climate resilience initiatives through strategic account management.
- Collaborate with government affairs teams, lobbyists, and other internal stakeholders to shape wildfire mitigation and disaster preparedness strategies.
Requirements
- Experience working closely with State Forestry officials, emergency management leaders, government affairs teams, state lobbyists, and state decision-makers who are actively shaping wildfire mitigation and disaster preparedness strategies.
- Proven ability to forge partnerships that bring advanced fire intelligence capabilities to the public sector.
- Demonstrated strategic and mission-driven approach to enterprise account management and sales.
- Experience supporting the adoption of wildfire detection and situational awareness technology across state and local government agencies in the West Coast.
- Strong understanding of public safety, emergency response, and climate resilience issues related to wildfire management.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to work effectively with government officials and decision-makers.
- Ability to support and accelerate the adoption of advanced technology solutions in the public sector.
