Job Description
The Engineering Manager will lead and grow the engineering team responsible for developing and scaling Pano AI's mission-critical wildfire detection platform, utilizing advanced hardware, software, and AI to provide real-time actionable intelligence to first responders and protect communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the engineering team behind Pano 360 platform.
- Scale and develop the full-stack engineering team to support product growth.
- Oversee the development and deployment of mission-critical wildfire detection technology.
- Foster a culture of ownership, creativity, communication, and collaboration within the engineering team.
- Build, grow, and mature high-performing engineering teams in a fast-paced startup environment.
Requirements
- Experience leading and managing a full-stack engineering team in a fast-paced, mission-driven startup environment.
- Proven ability to build, grow, and mature high-performing engineering teams.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to foster ownership, creativity, communication, and collaboration among team members.
- Demonstrated experience scaling a product that provides real-time, mission-critical solutions, specifically in the context of a platform similar to Pano 360 or comparable systems.
- Experience working with or managing software development involving hardware, software, and artificial intelligence components.
- Ability to manage and oversee the development of a web-based platform that integrates data feeds from high-definition cameras, satellite data, and other sources.
- Experience in developing or managing systems that deliver real-time actionable intelligence for emergency response or similar critical applications.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate across teams and stakeholders in a high-stakes environment.
- Minimum of several years of relevant engineering leadership experience, with specific emphasis on full-stack development and mission-critical systems.
