Job Description
This role involves working with advanced hardware, software, and AI technologies to develop and improve early wildfire detection systems, providing real-time intelligence to help fire professionals respond faster and more effectively to wildfires.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze real-time data from high-definition cameras, satellite feeds, and other sources to detect wildfire threats.
- Identify and verify fire incidents promptly using advanced hardware and software tools.
- Provide immediate, actionable intelligence to fire response teams to facilitate rapid deployment.
- Coordinate with relevant agencies and stakeholders to ensure timely response to detected wildfires.
Requirements
- Must have experience in developing or working with advanced hardware, software, and artificial intelligence systems, particularly in real-time threat detection or related fields.
- Must have experience working with or integrating high-definition, 360-degree cameras, satellite data feeds, or similar data sources for real-time monitoring and intelligence.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a relevant technical or engineering role related to hardware, software, or AI development.
- Must have a bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
- Must have experience in deploying or managing web-based platforms or applications, especially those involving real-time data processing and visualization.
- Must have experience working in a team environment and collaborating across disciplines such as hardware, software, and data analysis.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid-remote setting, with the ability to coordinate effectively with team members in different locations.
- Must be able to handle physical demands associated with working with hardware or field equipment, if applicable (though not explicitly stated, implied by hardware integration).
