Job Description
The Operations Specialist I supports the underwriting and technical document processing for Palmetto's financial products, provides installer support, and ensures smooth transaction workflows within a remote, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage underwriting and technical document processing for Palmetto's financial products
- Provide installer support via intercom to facilitate financial product transactions
- Monitor and review designated queues for document approval or rejection
- Communicate with colleagues on administrative tasks and compliance dispositions
- Respond to inbound chat inquiries promptly and accurately
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer, tech, or sales support role.
- Knowledge of the construction or solar industry is preferred.
- Ability to support frontline sales representatives and team members to successfully transact on the Palmetto financial product platform.
- High level of emotional intelligence, with the ability to navigate stressful situations in a tactful manner and accept feedback gracefully.
- Excellent conversational English writing skills.
- Proficiency in web-browser hotkeys shortcuts.
- High typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.
