This internship offers hands-on experience in talent acquisition and HR Business Partner activities, supporting recruiting, employee engagement, and organizational initiatives in a fast-paced, mission-driven clean tech company.
Key Responsibilities
Support full-cycle recruiting activities, including candidate outreach, interview scheduling, and candidate communications
Assist with early talent pipeline development through outreach to universities and student organizations
Coordinate interviews and maintain candidate tracking systems in collaboration with recruiters and hiring managers
Conduct research on local universities, student programs, and recruiting events to enhance early talent presence
Help with employer branding and campus outreach initiatives to promote Palmetto as an employer of choice
Assist HRBPs with onboarding, engagement, and performance initiatives
Analyze People Culture data such as engagement results and recruiting metrics to identify trends and opportunities
Contribute to projects supporting organizational health, manager enablement, and employee experience programs
Document and manage knowledge related to recruiting and HRBP programs to support scaling of People processes
Requirements
Currently enrolled in a 4-year College or University or have prior experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or related fields
Interest in Talent Acquisition, HRBP, or People Operations
Enjoys working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong computer skills, including Google Suite
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
