Job Description
This internship offers hands-on experience in talent acquisition and HR Business Partner activities, supporting recruiting, employee engagement, and organizational initiatives in a fast-paced, mission-driven clean tech company.
Key Responsibilities
- Support full-cycle recruiting activities, including candidate outreach, interview scheduling, and candidate communications
- Assist with early talent pipeline development through outreach to universities and student organizations
- Coordinate interviews and maintain candidate tracking systems in collaboration with recruiters and hiring managers
- Conduct research on local universities, student programs, and recruiting events to enhance early talent presence
- Help with employer branding and campus outreach initiatives to promote Palmetto as an employer of choice
- Assist HRBPs with onboarding, engagement, and performance initiatives
- Analyze People Culture data such as engagement results and recruiting metrics to identify trends and opportunities
- Contribute to projects supporting organizational health, manager enablement, and employee experience programs
- Document and manage knowledge related to recruiting and HRBP programs to support scaling of People processes
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a 4-year College or University or have prior experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or related fields
- Interest in Talent Acquisition, HRBP, or People Operations
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong computer skills, including Google Suite
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check
