Job Description
The Senior Salesforce Product Manager at Palmetto is responsible for leading the development and strategic direction of the company's Salesforce platform, aligning it with business needs, managing cross-functional teams, and driving Salesforce enhancements to support growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and communicate the Salesforce product vision and roadmap.
- Manage the Salesforce product backlog, prioritize user stories, and oversee sprint planning.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address their evolving needs.
- Lead solutioning discussions and technology selections for Salesforce-related products.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
- Manage end-user testing, communication, release management, and rollout of new features.
- Track and report on Salesforce delivery progress and business initiatives.
- Lead daily standups and facilitate Agile ceremonies with the Salesforce development team.
- Engage with business stakeholders to resolve impediments and support product development.
- Maintain strong technical knowledge of the Salesforce platform and integrations.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience at a technology company or consulting firm
- 5 years of experience working in an Agile development environment and participating in Agile ceremonies
- Ability to manage many competing priorities and complex projects
- Salesforce certifications highly preferred (such as consultant, administrator, etc.)
- 3 years of experience working with middleware for Salesforce (e.g., BOOMI, Tray.IO) or other middleware along with DevOps tools like Gearset or similar
- Experience translating business needs into strong user stories and requirements for new product features
- Technical aptitude and expertise in the Salesforce platform as well as other applications commonly integrated with Salesforce (such as Sales, Service, Field Service Lightning clouds)
- Excellent organizational and project management skills to manage priorities and dependencies across teams
- Excellent communication skills with experience translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Strong leadership skills rooted in high emotional intelligence (EQ), with the ability to rally cross-functional teams towards demanding goals
- Regarded as a subject matter expert in Salesforce and able to set up working agreements with other teams on how to use, engage, and request updates to their services
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check
