Job Description
The role involves delivering GIS training and support to customers, promoting the use of Esri's ArcGIS software, and helping organizations develop sustainable GIS workflows through hands-on instruction, workshops, and strategic communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance user proficiency in ArcGIS software through in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats.
- Identify skill gaps and provide targeted training sessions and ongoing support to users.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their workflows and provide guidance on designing and implementing sustainable GIS workflows.
- Promote the adoption of ArcGIS by demonstrating its capabilities and developing use cases for various business processes.
- Create visualizations and narratives to communicate the impact of GIS and develop engaging content such as case studies and success stories.
Requirements
- Five years of professional experience leveraging Esri's software capabilities with an emphasis on ArcGIS Desktop and/or ArcGIS Pro.
- At least two years of professional experience in classroom facilitation and instructional delivery.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities while prioritizing student needs.
- Strong listening skills and the ability to incorporate feedback to continuously improve instructional delivery and course materials.
- Proven ability to collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Twenty (20) hours of travel time within the year to support an average of 10-15 onsite customer training sessions per year.

- Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Science, Physical Sciences, Engineering, Information Science, or a related field.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $72,800 - $109,200 USD
Work schedule: 20-40 hours of travel time annually, including international travel
