Job Description
The role involves leading full-cycle talent acquisition efforts to recruit top talent in the clean tech industry, building strong candidate pipelines, and partnering with stakeholders to ensure a seamless and inclusive hiring process in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full cycle recruiting for key business segments with minimal direction
- Build and maintain a strong local talent pipeline through partnerships with universities, trade schools, community organizations, and professional networks
- Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract diverse, high-quality candidates
- Partner with hiring leaders to align hiring plans with team goals and long-term needs
- Use recruiting data to inform decisions, identify gaps, and improve recruitment processes
- Create a positive, inclusive candidate experience from outreach to onboarding
- Negotiate and extend job offers, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with company and market standards
- Leverage market insights and compensation benchmarks to develop competitive hiring strategies
Requirements
- 4-6 years of full cycle recruiting experience, preferably in high growth or mission driven companies.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to be seen as a trusted partner and advisor.
- Proficiency in sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiation, recruiting analytics, and process optimization.
- Highly adaptable and comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities.
- Strong sense of ownership, takes initiative, and follows through with limited direction.
- Collaborative and able to work cross-functionally to drive alignment and outcomes.
- Data-driven and analytical, with the ability to use metrics to inform recruiting strategy and measure success.
- Creative and resourceful, able to think outside the box and approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong prioritization and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and sourcing platforms, such as Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, HireEZ, or similar tools.
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.
