Job Description

The Relationship Manager at Palmetto is responsible for supporting and managing partnerships with certified installers, ensuring smooth financial transactions, building strong relationships, and providing training and support related to solar financing and the company's LightReach platform in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage support and processing of Palmetto's financial products for stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain communication with Certified Installer partners and build strong relationships
  • Provide coaching and training to sales representatives on LightReach products and portal usage
  • Identify and resolve issues related to milestones, platform functionality, and partner needs
  • Visit partners onsite to foster trust and collaboration
  • Coordinate with internal teams to address friction points and improve processes
  • Deliver in-person sales training on LightReach processes and market positioning
  • Support partner resolutions and escalations through customer support channels
  • Participate in strategic planning and forecasting activities with EPC partners
  • Maintain knowledge of third-party proposal platforms and industry trends

Requirements

  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a customer, tech, or sales support role
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a sales-partner-facing role
  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or equivalent preferred
  • Experience with interpreting data reports to streamline workflows preferred
  • Willingness to travel in the region up to 50%
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Customer service mindset
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Experience or knowledge of the construction or solar industry preferred
  • Employment contingent upon the successful completion of a background check
