Job Description
The Quality Program Specialist supports the execution and improvement of project review processes within the solar energy division, ensuring technical compliance, training team members, and enhancing partner experience to promote the longevity and quality of solar assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution and efficiency of the internal milestone review process for solar projects.
- Research, document, and communicate technical, process, and policy aspects of project reviews.
- Assist in creating and maintaining training materials and SOPs for the Quality Control team.
- Manage feedback platforms to ensure timely resolution of project rejections and support partner communication.
- Identify system blockers, bugs, or enhancements to improve platform efficiency.
- Maintain and expand the EPC knowledge base with standards and best practices.
- Perform desktop quality control reviews of project milestones to ensure compliance with standards.
- Analyze key metrics related to project reviews and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Requirements
- Three years of experience in a technical or construction-based solar role.
- One year of experience in a role involving training, quality control, or partner support.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret construction plans and electrical line diagrams.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 30-40% to partner locations and job sites.
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.
