Job Description
The Operations Specialist II manages underwriting, technical document processing, and installer support for Palmetto's financial products in the renewable energy sector, ensuring smooth transactions and continuous process improvements within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage underwriting and technical document processing for financial products
- Provide installer support to facilitate smooth financial transactions
- Maintain and update knowledge base resources and support systems
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve transaction blockers and friction points
- Support EPC partners through communication and consultative services
- Monitor and ensure compliance in financial operations
- Surface platform improvements based on observed issues
- Assist in evaluating and improving internal processes and systems
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer, tech, or sales support role.
- Knowledge of the construction or solar industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in web-browser hotkeys shortcuts.
- High typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
- Excellent conversational writing skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, computer-oriented environment.
- Willingness to support frontline sales reps and team members to successfully transact on the Palmetto financial product platform, demonstrating a passion for servant leadership.
- High level of emotional intelligence, able to navigate through stressful situations in a tactful manner.
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.
- Working hours are Monday - Friday from 3PM to 11PM EST or 12PM to 8PM PST, with some schedule flexibility possible.
