Job Description
The Capital Markets Analyst Associate will support capital raising activities, develop financial models, and manage funding processes to facilitate Palmetto's renewable energy projects, working closely with external partners and internal teams to drive growth and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Excel financial models to support tax equity and debt capital funding
- Lead the execution of tax equity, debt, and equity funding processes with external stakeholders
- Prepare and report financial reports to key stakeholders, ensuring automation and efficiency
- Enhance existing processes and workflows for improved operational efficiency
- Partner with internal teams such as Data Analytics, Operations, and Finance to ensure transparency and collaboration
- Build and maintain relationships with banks and external financial partners
- Support capital raising activities through modeling, execution, and stakeholder engagement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; a Master's or MBA is a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience in banking or capital markets, or 3-5 years of experience as an Associate in the relevant field.
- Experience in the solar industry is preferred.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills with a deep understanding of the macroeconomic landscape.
- Proficiency in developing and executing Excel financial models to support Tax Equity and Debt capital funding.
- Experience leading the execution of tax equity, debt, and equity funding processes with external stakeholders.
- Ability to report to key financial stakeholders and partner with technology teams to ensure automation of reports.
- Proactive in identifying improvement opportunities across systems and processes, and implementing solutions.
- Highly motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment where priorities may change quickly.
- Ability to collaborate seamlessly with internal teams such as Finance, Accounting, and Technology.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to varying audiences and leaders.
