The Account Operations Specialist will manage customer accounts and partner financial inquiries, ensuring accurate and timely processing, while collaborating across teams to improve operational efficiency within a clean energy technology company.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and track aging customer accounts to ensure timely resolution
Analyze aging reports to identify trends or discrepancies
Collaborate with internal teams to address overdue accounts and improve operational efficiency
Develop and implement strategies to reduce outstanding account timelines
Serve as the primary contact for partner accounting inquiries, ensuring accurate and timely responses
Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to invoices, payments, and account reconciliations
Assist partners with understanding financial statements, billing issues, and payment processes
Maintain documentation of partner interactions and resolutions
Requirements
Bachelor's degree
At least 3 years of experience in account operations, financial management, or a similar role
Proficiency in Excel, and data analysis tools and/or financial reporting systems
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with internal teams and external partners
