Job Description

The Associate in Finance supports the company's renewable energy projects by performing financial modeling, analysis, and reporting to optimize capital use and assist in investment decisions, working collaboratively across various teams to ensure financial excellence and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update project finance and portfolio planning models.
  • Model project economics to support development and investment decisions.
  • Prepare financial reports, metrics, and analyses for projects and segments.
  • Support financing activities by sourcing loans, tax equity, and development capital.
  • Review and validate project cash flows for development and delivery.
  • Research new financing structures, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Improve systems and processes to enhance quality, efficiency, and scalability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance, Economics, or related subject.
  • 2-3 years of experience performing financial modeling and analysis.
  • Experience preparing annual budgets, long-range plans, cash forecasts, operational metrics, and rolling forecasts for executive management.
  • High proficiency in Office 365 skills and advanced Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, macros, data tables, simulations solver, static and dynamic formulas.
  • High standards for organization, attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented, self-starter, quick learner, and possesses a strong sense of ownership.
  • Ability to be proactive, flexible, and to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with tight schedules and competing deadlines.
  • Proven ability to deliver efficient, timely, reliable data and reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and project manage at all levels of the organization.
  • Passion for utilizing technology to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of work product.
  • Strong quantitative analysis and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to thrive and manage change in a fast-growing company.
  • A desire to contribute to a culture which thrives on building trust and holding one another accountable.

Compensation: Seattle $85,000 - $127,000, Madison $75,000 - $106,000
