Job Description
A Staff Software Engineer at Omnidian is a strategic technical leader responsible for architecting and evolving the platform that manages the full lifecycle of solar assets, ensuring scalability and technological innovation across multiple workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical architect and strategist for the Asset Management Lifecycle domain.
- Evolve tracking, management, and optimization processes for solar assets across multiple teams.
- Introduce transformative technologies to enhance platform scalability and performance.
- Coordinate technical excellence across multiple workstreams.
- Oversee the full lifecycle management of solar assets from onboarding to daily monitoring and management.
Requirements
- Experience as a Staff Software Engineer or in a similar senior technical leadership role within an engineering organization.
- Ability to serve as the primary technical architect and strategist for the Asset Management Lifecycle domain.
- Proven experience in evolving how to track, manage, and optimize solar assets or similar assets across multiple workstreams.
- Experience introducing transformative technologies and coordinating technical excellence across multiple teams or workstreams.
- Strong understanding of full lifecycle management of assets, including initial onboarding, daily monitoring, and management.
- Demonstrated strategic vision and ability to coordinate technical efforts to ensure platform scalability for future growth.
- Experience working on distributed teams, collaborating across different locations and time zones.
- Ability to work on complex technical projects that involve multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
