Job Description

A Staff Software Engineer at Omnidian is a strategic technical leader responsible for architecting and evolving the platform that manages the full lifecycle of solar assets, ensuring scalability and technological innovation across multiple workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary technical architect and strategist for the Asset Management Lifecycle domain.
Evolve tracking, management, and optimization processes for solar assets across multiple teams.
Introduce transformative technologies to enhance platform scalability and performance.
Coordinate technical excellence across multiple workstreams.
Oversee the full lifecycle management of solar assets from onboarding to daily monitoring and management.

Requirements

Experience as a Staff Software Engineer or in a similar senior technical leadership role within an engineering organization.
Ability to serve as the primary technical architect and strategist for the Asset Management Lifecycle domain.
Proven experience in evolving how to track, manage, and optimize solar assets or similar assets across multiple workstreams.
Experience introducing transformative technologies and coordinating technical excellence across multiple teams or workstreams.
Strong understanding of full lifecycle management of assets, including initial onboarding, daily monitoring, and management.
Demonstrated strategic vision and ability to coordinate technical efforts to ensure platform scalability for future growth.
Experience working on distributed teams, collaborating across different locations and time zones.
Ability to work on complex technical projects that involve multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
