Job Description

A Software Product Manager at Omnidian is responsible for developing technology solutions and automating business processes to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and customer experience, working collaboratively across multiple teams to deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define technology needs and align with cross-functional teams and business lines
  • Translate business goals into researched, concrete solutions for engineering implementation
  • Develop solutions and automated processes to improve internal efficiency and scalability
  • Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Client Success, and Engineering teams to identify problems and develop technology-based solutions
  • Ensure timely and efficient resolution of issues impacting asset performance to protect client and customer investments
  • Proactively identify and communicate issues affecting systems to enhance customer experience

Requirements

  • Experience in defining technology needs and driving alignment with cross-functional teams and business lines.
  • Ability to translate business goals into well researched, concrete solutions that can be delivered by Engineering and produce measurable business value.
  • Proven experience in developing solutions and automated business processes that drive efficiency and scalability of internal teams.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with Operations, Finance, Client Success, and Engineering teams to identify problems and develop technology-based solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage software products in a fast-growing environment.
  • Experience in resolving issues impacting asset performance in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ability to proactively identify issues before customers or clients and communicate effectively about system issues.
  • Excellent customer support skills to ensure a best-in-class customer support experience with every interaction.
  • Strong understanding of the distributed solar and energy storage industries (implied by the context of the company and role).
