Job Description
A Senior Software Product Manager at Omnidian is responsible for defining technology needs, aligning cross-functional teams, translating business goals into actionable plans, conducting user research, collaborating on specifications, and facilitating project execution to deliver measurable business value in the solar and energy storage industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Define technology needs and align with cross-functional teams and business lines
- Translate business goals into actionable plans for engineering teams
- Conduct user research and generate solution ideas
- Collaborate with Engineering and UX teams to produce specifications and wireframes
- Facilitate project execution and manage project changes
- Identify and remove roadblocks to project progress
- Keep stakeholders informed about project status and developments
Requirements
- Experience in defining technology needs and driving alignment with cross-functional teams and business lines as a Product Manager or similar role.
- Ability to translate business goals into concrete plans that can be delivered by Engineering and produce measurable business value.
- Experience conducting user research and solution ideation.
- Proficiency collaborating with Engineering and UX teams to produce functional specifications and wireframes.
- Experience facilitating the execution of projects, helping to make business trade-offs, removing roadblocks, managing changes, and keeping stakeholders informed.
