Job Description
The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will lead the company's technology strategy, overseeing engineering, data science, security, and enterprise architecture to drive innovation and scale in the clean energy industry, while inspiring teams and delivering scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the company's technology vision and strategy.
- Oversee Engineering, Data Science, Data Management, and Security teams.
- Build systems, tools, and teams to support company growth.
- Shape a cross-functional technology roadmap focusing on AI, automation, and enterprise architecture.
- Partner with Product, Operations, and Go-to-Market teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Set technical direction, inspire teams, and execute projects with speed and clarity.
Requirements
- Experience defining and leading a technology vision and strategy for a company at a scale similar to Omnidian, including overseeing Engineering, Data Science, Data Management, and Security teams.
- Proven ability to build and lead cross-functional teams and develop systems, tools, and infrastructure that support company growth and innovation.
- Demonstrated experience shaping a technology roadmap that drives AI and automation initiatives, enterprise architecture, and scalable solutions.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and experience partnering with Product, Operations, and Go-to-Market teams to deliver scalable, forward-looking solutions.
- Experience setting a strategic vision and inspiring technical teams to execute with speed and clarity.
- Ability to operate in both strategic and hands-on roles, with a growth-minded leadership approach.
- Preferred location in or near Seattle, WA, or the ability to relocate or travel to Seattle as required.
