Job Description
The Smart Tech Specialist Aftercare Support is responsible for assisting customers with post-installation issues related to smart energy devices such as solar panels, EV chargers, and heat pumps, ensuring these solutions operate effectively and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with installed in-home energy technologies such as smart meters, EV chargers, heat pumps, home batteries, and solar panels.
- Provide technical support to customers via phone or other channels to ensure systems operate correctly.
- Identify and address technical problems to restore system functionality efficiently.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of renewable energy products and solutions to assist customers effectively.
- Deliver excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience and uphold the company's reputation.
Requirements
- Experience in providing aftercare support or customer support related to smart energy technologies such as smart meters, EV chargers, low carbon heat pumps, home batteries, or solar panels.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with in-home energy technologies, including quick fixes over the phone or more in-depth investigations as needed.
- Excellent communication skills to serve as a vital point of contact for customers and deliver an outstanding customer experience.
- Knowledge of EVs, solar panels, and heat pumps, with the ability to understand and support these systems effectively.
- Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a customer-focused service culture.
- Genuine honesty and empathy, with a commitment to providing fair and inclusive support to all customers.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and support procedures related to renewable energy solutions.
