Job Description
The role involves assisting in the installation of solar photovoltaic systems as part of a growing renewable energy team, supporting the main roofer in delivering high-quality solar panel installations across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of Solar PV systems on rooftops
- Support the lead roofer in ensuring safe and efficient roofing work
- Prepare roofing sites and materials for solar panel installation
- Help with the maintenance and safety checks of roofing equipment
- Collaborate with team members to complete installation projects on time
Requirements
- Experience as a Roofer or Roofer's mate, specifically in Solar PV installation or similar roofing work
- Ability to assist with the installation of Solar PV panels on UK homes as part of a team
- Willingness to work across various locations in the UK as part of a nationwide team
- Physical ability to perform roofing tasks, including working at heights and handling roofing materials
- Commitment to providing high levels of customer service and assisting customers with their solar installations
