Job Description
A Senior Associate in Assurance Services at Aprio works with clients to improve financial reporting, internal controls, and evaluate accounting issues, helping them mitigate risks and stay compliant with regulations to support long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients in improving financial reporting capabilities and internal controls
- Evaluate accounting issues and stay updated on new accounting regulations
- Assess the quality of financial information used for strategic decision-making
- Identify areas for operational efficiency improvements
- Work with audit experts to mitigate financial and business risks for clients
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience working in assurance or audit services, with a focus on financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting issues.
- Have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Demonstrate the ability to evaluate accounting issues and stay current with new accounting regulations that could impact long-term business growth.
- Show proficiency in assessing the quality of financial information used for strategic business decisions and identifying areas for operational efficiency improvements.
- Possess credentialed expertise in auditing, such as CPA certification or equivalent professional credentials.
- Be capable of working with businesses and industry leaders to mitigate financial and business risks.
- Have the ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues and clients.
- Be willing to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires adaptability and continuous learning.
