Job Description
A Roofer's mate role supporting the installation of Solar PV systems across the UK as part of a renewable energy company's growth team, helping to promote sustainable technology and assist customers in fighting climate change.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of Solar PV systems on rooftops
- Support the lead roofer in ensuring proper roofing and mounting of solar panels
- Prepare and maintain tools and materials for installation tasks
- Follow safety protocols and procedures during installation work
- Help with site setup and cleanup after installation projects
Requirements
- Experience as a Roofer or Roofer's mate, specifically in Solar PV installation or similar roofing work
- Ability to assist with the installation of Solar PV systems on UK homes
- Willingness to work across various locations in the UK as part of a nationwide team
- Physical ability to perform roofing tasks, including working at heights and handling roofing materials
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures relevant to roofing and solar panel installation
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-growing environment
- Commitment to providing high levels of customer service and assisting customers with their solar installations
