Job Description
A position for an experienced Roofer or Roofer's mate to join a UK-wide Solar PV installation team, helping to install solar panels and low-carbon technology in homes as part of a renewable energy mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of solar panels on rooftops
- Support the roofing team in preparing and securing roofing structures
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during installation activities
- Help with the maintenance and inspection of roofing equipment and materials
Requirements
- Experience as a Roofer or Roofer's mate, specifically in Solar PV installation or similar roofing work
- Ability to assist with the installation of Solar PV systems on UK homes
- Willingness to work across various locations in the UK as part of a nationwide team
- Physical capability to perform roofing tasks, including working at heights and handling roofing materials
- Basic understanding of roofing safety procedures and the use of relevant tools and equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team to complete Solar PV installation projects
- Commitment to providing high standards of customer service and assisting customers with their renewable energy needs
