Job Description

The Programme Manager will lead logistics and supply chain improvement initiatives at Octopus Energy Services, focusing on operational efficiency, sustainability, and continuous improvement across the company's low-carbon tech supply network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead critical logistics programmes to improve supply chain operations
  • Deliver measurable operational improvements across the logistics network
  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement within the business
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Procurement, and Data teams to ensure scalable and sustainable logistics performance
  • Translate strategic priorities into well-governed, executable programmes
  • Shape data and delivery foundations to support logistics initiatives
  • Drive long-term operational excellence through ongoing process improvements

Requirements

  • Experience in leading critical logistics programmes and delivering measurable operational improvements.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Procurement, and Data teams to ensure the logistics network scales efficiently, sustainably, and with clear performance visibility.
  • Experience in translating strategic priorities into well-governed, executable programmes across logistics and supply chain.
  • Proven ability to shape data and delivery foundations and drive continuous improvement and long-term operational excellence.
  • Regular exposure to senior leadership, with experience providing concise, data-led updates to senior management teams.
  • Strong skills in connecting strategy to delivery and building an improvement mindset across teams.
  • Experience in turning insight into action within a supply chain or logistics environment.
  • Educational background or experience relevant to supply chain management, logistics, or programme management (specific degree or qualification not explicitly stated but implied).
  • Ability to build and embed a culture of continuous improvement across the business.
  • Excellent communication skills for translating strategic priorities into programmes and providing updates to senior leadership.
