Job Description
A Portfolio Analyst at OEGEN is responsible for managing and reporting on renewable energy assets, including valuation, forecasting, investor communications, and supporting investment onboarding and refinancing activities to help expand the company's global renewable portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and analyze a portfolio of renewable energy assets to meet investor requirements.
- Prepare and deliver accurate reporting and valuation of portfolio investments.
- Forecast financial performance and calculate distributions for the portfolio.
- Oversee debt management activities related to the assets.
- Communicate with investors regarding portfolio performance and updates.
- Support onboarding of new investments and capital recycling initiatives.
- Assist with refinancing activities of existing assets.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of fund management processes.
Requirements
- Experience in analyzing and managing a portfolio of renewable energy assets or similar investment portfolios.
- Ability to understand and deliver against all investor requirements including reporting, valuing portfolio investments, forecasting and calculating distributions, debt management, and investor communications.
- Proven ability to deliver accurate and high-quality outputs in portfolio analysis and management.
- Experience supporting onboarding of new investments, capital recycling programmes, and refinancing activities.
- Strong understanding of fund management processes and the ability to support continuous improvement of these processes.
- Ability to support onboarding and management of billions of assets over a period of at least 5 years.
- Experience working within a team reporting to a Senior Portfolio Manager or similar leadership role.
- Excellent communication skills for investor relations and internal team collaboration.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a process timeline typically up to 4 weeks, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Ability to support and coordinate with cross-functional teams during investment onboarding, refinancing, and capital recycling activities.
