Job Description
The Platform Manager will oversee the development and management of renewable energy projects across Europe, focusing on maximizing value through project development stages, stakeholder communication, and decision support, with fluency in Italian required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maximize the value of renewable energy development projects across Europe from early stage to ready-to-build.
- Collaborate with developers to deliver investment cases and support project development in changing market conditions.
- Support decision-making and value creation for portfolio companies by providing insights and analysis to senior stakeholders.
- Lead on project exits and ensure successful development progression of projects.
Requirements
- Fluency in Italian is essential for this role.
- Understanding of renewables development and the ability to support decision making and value creation for portfolio companies.
- Experience in managing development projects across different maturity stages from early stage land to ready to build.
- Experience working with development portfolios spanning multiple countries, specifically five countries in Europe.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to support investment cases in changing market dynamics.
- Ability to communicate clearly with the team and senior stakeholders.
- Support board directors and fund managers in decision making and value creation for portfolio companies.
- Experience in value maximisation of renewable energy projects through their development journey and leading on exits.
- Experience working in the renewable energy sector, specifically with wind farms, solar power plants, or energy storage projects.
- Proven ability to support and collaborate with developers to deliver development investments.
- Ability to analyze data related to renewable energy projects and development portfolios.
