The Optimisation Manager will develop and implement strategies to monetize customer devices and generate value by leveraging expertise in flexibility markets, trading, and scheduling strategies within Octopus Energy's innovative energy solutions team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategies for monetising customer devices and generating value
- Analyze flexibility markets and match market mechanisms to trading and scheduling strategies
- Optimize energy flexibility products and tools to enhance system efficiency and customer benefits
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of flexibility markets, coupled with analytical expertise, to match market mechanisms to trading and scheduling strategies
- Experience in developing and implementing strategies for monetising customer devices and generating value for customers within flexibility markets
- Ability to match market mechanisms to trading and scheduling strategies effectively
- Proven experience in the energy sector related to flexibility markets, trading, or scheduling strategies (implied by the need for deep knowledge and expertise)
