Job Description
A Fullstack Engineer at MOPO will develop and maintain the digital platform that manages solar energy hubs, battery networks, and customer services across Sub-Saharan Africa, using Python Django, Vue.js, and MariaDB. The role involves working on a mission-driven project to expand renewable energy access and impact lives through innovative energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the MOPO Platform using Python Django, Vue.js, and MariaDB.
- Build features to manage solar hubs, battery networks, and customer interactions.
- Contribute to the technical architecture and help steer platform scalability and performance.
Requirements
- Proficiency in working across the full stack using Python Django, Vue.js, and MariaDB to build and maintain the platform that manages solar hubs, battery networks, and customer services.
- Experience in developing and maintaining digital platforms that support energy distribution networks.
- Ability to add capacity for a rapidly scaling platform and help steer the direction of the technical architecture.
- Willingness to work primarily at the Sheffield HQ with up to two days per week working from home.
- Availability for occasional international travel to Sub-Saharan Africa if interested.
