A Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer responsible for installing and demonstrating smart meters to customers, providing energy-saving advice, and supporting the renewable energy revolution while delivering excellent customer service within the Octopus Energy Services team.
Key Responsibilities
Install dual fuel smart meters in customers' homes
Demonstrate and explain the operation of meters and in-home displays to customers
Educate customers on how meters can help save energy and support the green energy revolution
Ensure safety and customer service excellence during installations
Provide support and answer customer questions about energy saving and meter functionality
Requirements
Experience as a smart meter engineer with a track record of safety and customer excellence.
Ability to represent the company's brands in customers' homes and communicate effectively with customers.
Willingness and ability to perform the installation of dual fuel smart meters and in-home displays.
Capability to demonstrate to customers how their meters and in-home displays work and how they can help save energy.
Ability to answer customer questions about the green energy revolution and related topics.
Willingness to work as part of the Octopus Energy Services team, supporting company performance goals.
Ability to adapt to evolving processes and shift focus from administrative tasks to delivering high-quality service.
