Job Description
The Data Protection Manager will support the business in ensuring compliance with UK GDPR legislation, managing data protection processes, and developing creative solutions to enhance data security and operational efficiency during a fixed-term maternity cover period.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with UK GDPR legislation and processes
- Support the business in maintaining operational security and data protection standards
- Collaborate with various teams to develop creative solutions for business challenges related to data protection
Requirements
- Supporting the business and ensuring full operational continuity and compliance with UK GDPR legislation and processes.
- Working with various teams to expand capabilities and develop creative solutions to business challenges and opportunities.
- Experience in data protection and information security management.
- Knowledge of UK GDPR legislation and processes related to data protection.
- Ability to support and maintain data protection compliance within the organization.
- Experience in developing and implementing data protection policies and procedures.
- Understanding of data privacy principles and best practices.
- Experience in conducting data protection impact assessments (DPIAs).
- Experience in handling data subject rights requests and data breach management.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with different teams and stakeholders on data protection matters.
