Job Description

The Construction Asset Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery of renewable energy projects, ensuring they meet time, cost, quality, HSE, and ESG standards throughout their lifecycle, from development to operations, across multiple technologies such as wind, solar, storage, and hybrids.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as OEGEN's representative and client agent for construction projects
  • Ensure delivery of projects within time, cost, quality, HSE, and ESG standards
  • Oversee full project lifecycle from due diligence and contract negotiation to construction oversight and operational readiness
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners such as EPCs, OEMs, engineers, advisors, and regulators

Requirements

  • Experience as a Construction Asset Manager or in a similar role overseeing renewable energy construction projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing the delivery of large-scale renewable energy projects, with a focus on wind, solar, storage, and hybrid technologies.
  • Ability to act as OEGEN’s representative and client agent for construction projects, ensuring that time, cost, quality, HSE, and ESG standards are consistently achieved.
  • Experience working across the full project lifecycle, from due diligence and contract negotiation through to construction oversight, handover, and operational readiness.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and best practices in renewable energy asset development and construction.
  • Experience working with external partners such as EPCs, OEMs, owner’s engineers, advisors, and regulators.
  • Ability to work closely with fund-aligned commercial and financial teams, technical asset managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Willingness and ability to work an average of 3 days per week in the office in London.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and ESG standards relevant to renewable energy projects.
