Job Description
A Commercial Accountant at Octopus Energy Services will manage costs of sales and inventory, collaborate across finance and supply chain teams, and drive process improvements and strategic insights to support business growth in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage cost of sales and inventory to impact financial reporting
- Collaborate with Finance and Supply Chain teams for daily financial management
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and assess strategic and commercial risks
Requirements
- Qualified accountant with relevant professional certification or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Experience in finance management related to supply chain, including ownership over cost of sales and inventory management.
- Ability to work closely with Finance and Supply Chain teams to provide day-to-day finance management.
- Eagerness to dive into the details, get hands-on, and rapidly expand their experience in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
