Job Description
Nuro is seeking an experienced business development leader to identify, evaluate, and secure strategic partnerships for autonomous vehicle technology, working cross-functionally to align product and market strategies and drive high-value deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and close strategic business opportunities and partnerships
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners to leverage Nuro's autonomy capabilities
- Lead deal sourcing, negotiations, and execution of complex agreements
- Present and demonstrate autonomous solutions to potential partners and customers
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to align product roadmap with customer needs
- Assess market trends, competitor activity, and customer behaviors to inform commercial strategies
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, partner management, or similar roles at a technology company
- Demonstrated history of creatively structuring and closing bespoke agreements
- Ability to negotiate and execute short and long-term deals and enterprise partnerships
- Proven track record of driving high-value partnerships
- Deep knowledge of business, strategy, product, finance, and legal concepts to inform complex, multi-faceted deals
- Strong program management skills and a proven ability to partner closely with engineering to align on priorities, deliverables, and technical solutions
- Experience collaborating closely with internal and external engineering teams
- Analytical mindset and a track record of using data to inform strategy
- Default to using data to make decisions
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with high ambiguity and competing priorities
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range between $167,200 and $250,800, plus annual performance bonus and equity
