Job Description
Develop and manage hardware-in-the-loop systems and automated testing frameworks for autonomous vehicle sensor and software validation, leveraging AI tools to enhance testing processes and accelerate deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and manage Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) systems for simulating autonomous vehicle systems with sensors, network, and compute hardware
- Implement automated testing frameworks for the Nuro Driver autonomy stack
- Leverage AI tools to generate manufacturing End-Of-Line (EOL) tests and field diagnostics
- Combine cloud and on-premises technologies to enable continuous testing and create dashboards for test monitoring and issue tracking
- Debug complex systems, identify root causes of failures, and deploy solutions to improve reliability
- Collaborate with hardware, fleet infrastructure, and software teams to accelerate validation and deployment of autonomous vehicle systems
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience developing cloud infrastructure and web services in robotics or autonomous driving systems.
- Proven ability to deep dive into complex simulation and test systems, programming in Python, with at least reading ability of C or C++ code for triaging software issues.
- Experience using generative AI tooling to create programs and test cases.
- A bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Clear and concise communication skills to collaborate effectively with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
