Job Description
A software engineering intern role focused on developing and integrating onboard software systems for autonomous vehicles, working closely with robotics, machine learning, and hardware teams to ensure safe and reliable autonomous driving technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain reliable, high-performance onboard software platforms for autonomous driving systems.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and safety teams to ensure software and hardware integration is safe and reliable.
- Troubleshoot and resolve onboard error and performance issues in autonomous vehicle systems.
Requirements
- You are a current BS or MS candidate in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field graduating in December 2025 or later
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: backend API design, applications development, large-scale distributed systems, data storage and processing systems, advanced algorithms using C and Python, machine learning, multithreading, x86 architecture and software performance tuning and optimization, robotics software frameworks, different compute modalities such as CPU, GPU, FPGA
- Deep expertise and prior experience in some or many of the areas listed above
- Strong problem solving and programming skills
