Job Description
A Machine Learning Engineer responsible for developing and maintaining tools to support the ML model development lifecycle, ensuring efficient deployment, monitoring, and collaboration across cross-functional teams in a self-driving technology company.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain tools for tracking the ML model development lifecycle, including feature store, experiment tracking, and model registry
- Implement tools for efficient deployment and evaluation of ML models
- Develop issue detection and alerting mechanisms for ML services, data pipelines, and model deployments
- Maintain observability dashboards to monitor model performance, data quality, and system metrics
- Promote best practices for robust, reproducible, and debuggable ML experimentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify infrastructure needs and integrate solutions for end-to-end ML systems
Requirements
- 2 years of relevant work experience or an equivalent experience in Masters or PhD with 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong coding skills in Python or C++.
- Exposure to the ML development life cycle and ML models.
- Experience profiling and optimizing performance bottlenecks in distributed systems.
