Job Description
The role involves building and maintaining talent pipelines for leadership and technical roles in AI, ML, and Robotics by sourcing passive candidates, engaging with engineering leaders, and utilizing creative recruiting strategies to support Nuro's autonomous technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers and recruiters to define candidate profiles and sourcing strategies.
- Build and execute targeted searches for engineering and leadership roles.
- Craft personalized outreach to engage passive and competitive technical talent.
- Manage the candidate pipeline from research to initial engagement and qualification.
- Utilize creative sourcing channels to find hard-to-reach talent.
- Track and analyze sourcing metrics to improve processes and identify trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance sourcing tools and methods.
- Support leadership searches by identifying successors and maintaining candidate slates.
Requirements
- 5 years of technical sourcing experience with a proven track record in Leadership, Robotics, AI ML, Autonomy, or deeply technical engineering domains.
- Demonstrated success in engaging and converting high-caliber passive talent in competitive markets.
- Strong technical acumen, understanding how complex engineering systems fit together, and the ability to quickly ramp into new domains.
- Experience supporting or directly sourcing for leadership-level engineering roles.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple concurrent searches.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to use funnel metrics to prioritize, refine approaches, and communicate impact.
- Ability to build and maintain top-tier talent pipelines for leadership and technical roles across ML, AI, and Robotics.
- Experience partnering with hiring managers, recruiters, and technical leaders to define candidate profiles, sourcing strategies, and refine requirements.
- Proficiency in crafting personalized, thoughtful outreach to engage passive and competitive technical talent.
- Experience leveraging creative, non-traditional sourcing channels to uncover undervalued or hard-to-find talent.
- Support leadership searches by identifying successors, building market maps, and maintaining calibrated slates for senior engineering roles.
- Comfortable managing a high volume of open roles with ease.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt well to a constantly evolving environment with shifting priorities.
