Job Description
The role involves designing and developing large-scale data pipelines, storage systems, and analytics tools to support autonomous driving systems, with a focus on data collection, validation, and ML-driven data annotation for a self-driving technology company.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop large-scale batch and streaming data pipelines for evaluation purposes
- Create and implement storage systems for large volumes and diverse evaluation metrics
- Construct dashboards and reports to present evaluation results and compare ML system performance
- Develop and maintain continuous testing and monitoring systems for data integrity and pipeline resilience
- Develop data mining tools using ML techniques to support data discovery in perception, behavior, and mapping
- Create data annotation tools to support labeling workflows for perception, mapping, and driving trajectories
- Scale data annotation labels using advanced ML techniques
Requirements
- A degree in BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field, plus 4 years of relevant work experience
- Strong proficiency in Python or similar programming languages
- Experience working with large-scale data and building scalable reliable systems and data pipelines
- Ability to understand and design complex systems
- Experience setting team or project product and technical vision, timelines, and prioritization
- Experience as a Technical Lead, mentoring, and supporting junior engineers
- Technical excellence and ability to deep dive into implementation, driving technical standards and best practices across a broader software organization
