Job Description
The role involves leading the product engineering efforts to develop and enhance autonomous vehicle technology, focusing on ride-hailing, routing, and fleet operational tools, while managing a team of engineers and collaborating with mobility providers and OEMs.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical vision and roadmap for the Product Engineering team
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 15-20 engineers, fostering technical excellence and collaboration
- Drive the end-to-end ride-hailing experience
- Develop onboard and offboard routing engines
- Partner with mobility providers and OEMs on system and data integration
- Lead innovation in operational and fleet tooling for R&D and commercial needs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or 5 years of equivalent industry experience with 10 years of software engineering experience, including 4 years in engineering leadership roles managing teams of 10 engineers
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, with hands-on experience building and scaling real-time cloud services and applications
- Proven leadership experience managing and growing high-performing engineering teams, with a demonstrated ability to mentor and inspire technical talent
- Strong business sense, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with a bias for action and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the capacity to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Experience leading the end-to-end ride-hailing experience, including defining and executing the technical vision and roadmap for the Product Engineering team
- Experience leading the development of onboard and offboard routing engines
- Experience partnering closely with mobility providers and OEMs on system and data integration
- Experience leading innovation for operational and fleet tooling, catering to both R&D and commercial needs
