Job Description
The role involves managing cross-functional programs to develop and implement verification and validation tools for autonomous driving systems, ensuring system readiness, safety, and reliability for driverless deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive cross-functional execution for systems verification and validation tooling programs to ensure driverless readiness.
- Coordinate integration of tooling with simulation and autonomy stacks to support systems testing and validation.
- Translate verification needs into concrete tooling requirements across perception, planning, control, and safety workflows.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of systems tooling initiatives, including defining requirements, managing priorities, and tracking progress.
- Ensure validation infrastructure meets safety and regulatory standards for driverless operations.
- Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement improvements to accelerate validation cycles.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in technical program management, systems engineering, or software development in robotics, automotive, or related technology domains.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional programs involving multiple engineering disciplines such as software, hardware, autonomy, or systems.
- Strong understanding of system verification and validation, testing frameworks, or simulation infrastructure.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex dependencies, drive alignment, and communicate effectively across technical and leadership audiences.
- Proficiency with agile program tools such as Jira and Asana, and technical documentation platforms such as Confluence.
- Experience translating high-level systems verification needs into concrete tooling requirements across perception, planning, control, and safety validation workflows.
- Ability to build and maintain detailed execution plans, track progress, risks, and metrics using internal tools like Asana, Confluence, or custom dashboards.
- Experience partnering with systems and simulation engineers to evolve infrastructure supporting model validation, synthetic data, test orchestration, and automation at scale.
- Ability to drive validation tool readiness reviews and ensure the VV tooling stack meets regulatory and internal safety certification standards for driverless operations.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, able to balance fast-paced execution with structured process discipline.
