Develop and integrate infrastructure and data pipelines to evaluate and improve the performance of autonomous driving systems, supporting testing, benchmarking, and system analysis for self-driving technology at Nuro.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and integrate infrastructure for performance benchmarking of the autonomous driving system
Build data pipelines and tooling to analyze system performance and contention
Collaborate with hardware, software, and data teams to deploy and optimize new system designs
Improve end-to-end testing workflows and reduce testing times
Work with data science team to develop tools and methodologies for performance analysis
Requirements
Have 5 years of experience working in the software industry or related experience.
Experience with common infrastructure and data engineering concepts, Linux systems, and writing software for debugging prototype hardware.
Ability and willingness to deep dive into implementation, driving technical standards and best practices across broader software organization.
Strong proficiency in Python.
Experience working with performance engineering, especially around tooling integration perf, Perfetto, pprof, eBPF, NVIDIA Nsight Systems, NVIDIA CUPTI.
Experience with on-prem infrastructure deployed on custom hardware.
Experience with integrating AI tools into data analysis pipelines.
Experience with NVIDIA DriveOS stack.
Experience in robotics or autonomous vehicles (AV).
Experience with distributed systems.

Compensation/salary range: $183,000 to $275,000 base pay, plus annual performance bonus, equity, and a competitive benefits package
