Job Description
The role involves leading cross-functional strategic programs to support Nuro's autonomous vehicle partnerships, ensuring effective execution, alignment, and communication across engineering and business teams to drive company growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive execution and program management for high-priority strategic initiatives, including partnerships like the Robotaxi program
- Identify, communicate, and mitigate top risks, dependencies, and cross-functional relationships impacting program success
- Establish and manage the engineering operating cadence, including reviews, reporting, and performance tracking
- Break down complex technical challenges into actionable workstreams with clear dependencies and ownership
- Create and deliver clear communications connecting technical details with business context for stakeholders
- Define and track key engineering KPIs to measure progress, delivery health, and interdependencies
- Partner with engineering and product leadership to align cross-functional dependencies and deliver on partnership commitments
Requirements
- Technical degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, with MS or PhD preferred
- Significant experience leading complex, cross-functional technical or operational programs within engineering, product, or strategy functions at technology-driven companies
- Demonstrated ability to translate highly technical work into clear execution plans and measurable outcomes
- Proven success operating effectively at both the strategic and execution levels, synthesizing complexity while driving accountability and delivery
- Experience in advanced technology domains such as robotics, autonomy, AI infrastructure, or other safety-critical systems
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, able to engage confidently with executives, engineers, and external partners across multiple companies
- Track record of driving clarity, alignment, and forward progress across fast-moving and ambiguous environments
- Experience working directly with founders or C-level executives to drive company-level priorities and operating rhythms
