Job Description
The role involves leading cross-functional strategic programs at Nuro, focusing on execution, alignment, and partnership initiatives in autonomous vehicle technology, while collaborating with engineering and business leaders to ensure progress and clarity across complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive execution and program management for strategic initiatives across technology and business groups, focusing on partnerships like Robotaxi.
- Identify, communicate, and mitigate top risks, dependencies, and cross-functional relationships impacting program success.
- Establish and manage the engineering operating cadence, including reviews, reporting, and performance dashboards to ensure accountability.
- Break down complex technical challenges into actionable workstreams with clear dependencies and ownership.
- Create and deliver clear communications connecting technical details with business context for stakeholders.
- Define and track key engineering KPIs and develop systems for transparent progress reporting.
- Partner with engineering and product leadership to align milestones and deliver on partnership commitments.
Requirements
- Technical degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, MS or PhD preferred
- Significant experience leading complex, cross-functional technical or operational programs within engineering, product, or strategy functions at technology-driven companies
- Demonstrated ability to translate highly technical work into clear execution plans and measurable outcomes
- Proven success operating effectively at both the strategic and execution levels, synthesizing complexity while driving accountability and delivery
- Experience in advanced technology domains such as robotics, autonomy, AI infrastructure, or other safety-critical systems
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, able to engage confidently with executives, engineers, and external partners across multiple companies
- Track record of driving clarity, alignment, and forward progress across fast-moving and ambiguous environments
- Experience working directly with founders or C-level executives to drive company-level priorities and operating rhythms

Salary range between $235,030 and $352,290 depending on experience, qualifications, education, location, and skills
