Job Description
The Facility Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and overseeing the operations, safety, and functionality of Nuro's campus facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute daily facility operations to ensure campus readiness and safety
- Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and resolve operational issues
- Manage vendor performance, particularly janitorial services
- Maintain safety compliance, including Life Safety and Paths of Egress standards
- Collaborate with internal teams on new programs, projects, and facility inquiries
- Respond to facility-related emergencies and support after-hours building needs
Requirements
- Three years of related experience with an emphasis on commercial facility maintenance, electrical systems, and building repairs.
- Strong build carpentry skills including hanging, mounting, and furniture assembly.
- Proficiency in flooring, drywall, plaster, and painting repair.
- Ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and plumbing systems.
- Ability to change light bulbs, ballasts, and perform general electrical upkeep.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, safety rules, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Competency in writing routine reports and professional correspondence.
- Must be physically capable of bending, squatting, stretching, and lifting up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally, with the ability to move heavier items with mechanical assistance or as part of a team lift.
- Reliable transportation to travel between the Mountain View and Santa Clara campuses.
- This is an hourly role requiring a consistent schedule to meet campus operational needs.
- The position requires the physical presence on-site at the campus locations.

Compensation/salary range: $34.93 to $46.96 per hour, plus annual performance bonus and equity
