Job Description
The role involves designing and validating PCB hardware architectures for autonomous vehicle systems, including power supply, analog circuits, and high-speed interfaces, supporting the entire product lifecycle from concept to production in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop PCB architectures using embedded Microcontrollers, SoCs, and FPGAs for sensing, compute, and control systems
- Design DC-DC power supplies and analog mixed-signal circuits with low noise and high bandwidth
- Develop onboard and high-speed board-to-board interface designs
- Define and execute hardware test validation plans
- Support and debug hardware designs throughout their lifecycle, including manufacturing and sustaining phases
- Drive board design from concept through product end-of-life independently
Requirements
- Bachelor in Electrical Engineering
- 3 years of electrical design experience
- Skilled in PCB design schematic layout, fabrication working with manufacturer, bringup, and debug
- Proficient with popular EDA tools
- Proficiency with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, power supplies, electronic loads, and other debugging tools
- Ability to derive detailed bringup and validation plans to ensure robustness of designs
- Ability and skills necessary to drive a board design independently from concept through product end of life
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range between $120,270 and $180,410, plus annual performance bonus and equity
