A Paralegal role supporting NineDot Energy's legal team in entity management, corporate governance, transactional due diligence, and litigation related to renewable energy projects, with a focus on contract review, compliance, and legal operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and revise legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and corporate policies.
Assist in maintaining corporate records and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Support entity formation and management, including overseeing the entity management system.
Coordinate due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, financings, and other transactions.
Review, draft, and manage NDAs.
Provide legal operations support, including managing contracts management platform and workflows.
Handle litigation matters related to project development and operations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree and paralegal certification
Notary Public in New York State
Proven experience as a corporate paralegal, preferably in renewable energy or commercial real estate development
Familiarity with real estate construction litigation and insurance matters
Experience with Legal Operations, including contract management legacy archives and template-driven new contracts and maintenance of contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform
Proficiency in document management systems
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in assisting with legal research and document drafting
Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Salary range of $115,000 - $130,000 plus bonus and incentive stock options
