Job Description
The Corporate Finance Manager at Nexamp is responsible for developing financial models, supporting strategic initiatives, managing investor relations, and improving budgeting processes to optimize cash flow and corporate performance within the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and review enterprise-level cash flow models for scenario planning and liquidity management
- Evaluate strategic initiatives such as capital raises, acquisitions, and investments by preparing financial models and summarizing results
- Serve as the primary contact for current and potential investors, preparing investor reports and supporting financial diligence
- Improve and drive the corporate budgeting and reforecasting process, focusing on working capital impacts
- Analyze financial model results to support business units and enhance company performance
- Identify and implement process improvements, including reports, tools, and dashboards
- Collaborate with teams and finance members to achieve business outcomes
- Develop and update financial performance presentations for executives and investors
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- At least 5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting, or a closely related field
- Experience designing and reviewing enterprise-level cash flow models to assist in scenario planning and proactively manage short-term and long-term liquidity
- Experience evaluating strategic initiatives such as capital raises, acquisitions, and other corporate investments by preparing financial models and summarizing results for senior leadership and investors
- Experience serving as the point of contact for current and potential investors, preparing investor reporting deliverables, and addressing project and corporate investor financial diligence
- Experience driving process improvements and strategic initiatives to optimize capital management and cash flow
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly and thrive in evolving business environments and periods of change
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience partnering with senior leaders and investors
- Experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond the organization
- Experience showcasing initiative to improve current work, processes, products, and services across the organization
- Ability to ask appropriate questions, analyze data, identify root causes of problems, and present creative solutions
- Expertise in building strong internal and external relationships with customers and stakeholders, instilling trust and loyalty
- Eagerness to develop a fundamental understanding of how Nexamp operates and apply that knowledge to inform business decisions
